The iPhone 18 Pro Max has the largest screen in the Pro line-up and is heavier than its predecessor. That extra weight means a fall hits harder, and on a large device the glass usually cracks right at a corner or an edge. This happens fastest in the first few weeks after purchase, before a case has been fitted.

iPhone 18 Pro Max screen replacement: what to expect
On a large screen like that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the protective front glass tends to crack first at the corners, where the impact of a fall hits hardest. If the display underneath keeps working normally, at FIXNOW we replace only the glass and you keep your original OLED screen. If you notice spots, streaks or areas that no longer respond to touch, the display itself has been affected and we fit a completely new screen.
If the device falls onto its back, it is often the back that cracks while the screen itself stays intact. We replace that glass back panel separately from the rest of the device, so you do not pay for a screen that still works normally. This way you only have what is actually broken replaced.
If the battery of your iPhone 18 Pro Max keeps faltering while the device is still new, we replace it separately, independently of the screen or back. Make a back-up beforehand and turn off Find My before coming to Antwerp or Wolvertem; if a visit is not possible, the device can also be sent in.
