Repair, often while you wait
We usually replace a battery or screen right away. For a logic board repair or water damage we take more time: we look for the cause, not just the symptom.
Water damage or a swollen battery: don't wait
Act fast
- Did water or coffee get on your MacBook? Turn it off immediately, don't charge it, and bring it in as soon as possible
- Is the battery pushing up the trackpad or the bottom case? That points to a swollen battery. Have it checked quickly
