Check the battery condition yourself

Open System Settings and click Battery. If it says 'Service Recommended,' macOS considers the battery worn out. Want to know more precisely? Hold down Option, click the Apple menu, and choose System Information. Under Power you'll see the cycle count and maximum capacity. If that capacity has dropped significantly, the battery is simply worn out.

Original parts, per model

Every MacBook has its own battery: a compact MacBook Air needs a different part than a larger MacBook Pro. We fit original Apple batteries from our own stock, so capacity and charging behavior go back to what you're used to from your Mac. For some older models, a high-quality alternative exists that works out cheaper. If that applies to your model, we'll explain the difference before we start, and you decide.

Thanks to our ample battery stock, a battery replacement is usually ready the same day, often while you wait. The repair comes with up to 1 year warranty.

Making the new battery last longer

Top up your charge along the way rather than always going from nearly empty to completely full each time; that's gentler on a lithium-ion battery. Leave optimized charging in macOS turned on. And keep your MacBook out of direct sun and hot cars: heat is the biggest enemy of any battery.
