The microSD reader is on the motherboard. If it fails, another card will not help, because the reader itself has to be repaired.

- Keep the air vents clear and do not put the handheld on a blanket, so the heat can escape
- Shut the ROG Ally down completely instead of using sleep mode: a frozen Windows can sometimes look like a defect
- Do not open the housing yourself: the microSD reader and the ports are on the motherboard
