Why won't your device turn on anymore?
A device that won't turn on isn't automatically broken. Often the battery is simply empty or worn out to the point where it no longer holds a charge. Sometimes it's a software freeze, and after a drop or contact with water, there can be internal damage.

Try this yourself first
Before you assume the device is broken, these steps rule out the simplest causes.
- Connect the device to a working charger and cable for at least a while, even if nothing shows on the screen
- Force-restart using your device's button combination
- Test with a different charger and cable to rule out a faulty adapter
- Check the charging port for dirt and gently clean it with a dry, soft brush
- Did the device get wet recently? Turn it off right away and just let it sit — rice is a myth that can actually make the damage worse
