MacBook Neo screen replacement: what to expect
If the bag with your MacBook Neo falls, the screen is often the first thing to give out. We fit a new screen into your own housing, so the rest of the device stays untouched. If the keyboard or trackpad still works normally, we leave them alone.
Both Antwerp and Wolvertem are equipped to carry out this repair for you; if that does not suit your schedule, mailing it in is possible too. Make a backup beforehand, turn off Find My Mac, and bring the charger along, so we can test the device right after the repair.
Liquid damage and keyboard on the MacBook Neo
If a drink spilled over the keyboard of your MacBook Neo, every minute counts. Turn the device off, do not plug in the charger, and leave it as it is until you can bring it to us. The longer the moisture keeps soaking in, the greater the risk that the logic board also gets damaged.
If individual keys stop responding, or the trackpad stutters without anything having been spilled, we replace only the damaged part. If the charging port feels wobbly because the cable goes in and out of it every day, we handle that separately. Sometimes a thorough cleaning is already enough, when dust or crumbs between the keys are the cause.
