Apple Watch Series 10 46mm screen replacement: what to expect
The Series 10 is thinner than its predecessors and has a larger screen. That larger surface takes the first hit in a fall, and it’s the repair we do most often on this model. Often it’s not too bad: on many devices only the glass is cracked — the display underneath still shows a picture just fine. In that case we only replace the glass, and your original screen stays in place. If the screen itself no longer works, we fit a full new screen.
Because of the thin design, everything in the Series 10 sits close together. That calls for precision work: replacing the back panel means working right next to the heart rate sensors. That’s why we disassemble step by step, so that only the damaged part comes out and the rest of the device stays intact.
Replacing a battery calls for that same care. If your watch no longer makes it to the end of the day, we open the device with the same precision as for a screen repair. Afterwards we check that the screen and the always-on display work the way you’re used to.

- Crack or spider web in the glass — the glass cracks from inside to outside, so the crack spreads in all directions.
- Black or colored spots and stripes — the display itself is damaged, usually after an impact or a fall.
- Touch no longer responds — you can see everything on the screen, but swiping or tapping doesn’t work; this usually happens after a fall or if moisture got into the device.
- Just scratches? They don’t necessarily mean you need a replacement: we often polish scratches away without opening the watch.
