No, usually not. We carefully cut the broken glass from the screen and apply a new glass layer with specialized equipment. This way, the original LCD display is preserved and the costs are lower than with a completely new screen.

If the glass is cracked but still displays normally, a glass replacement is sufficient. If black spots or streaks appear on the screen, the LCD display is also damaged — a problem that often occurs on the iPad Mini 5 — and we replace the entire screen. Unsure?
