What happens to an iPad Mini 8 on the go
The iPad Mini 8 is the first iPad mini with an OLED screen. It has the A20 Pro chip, charges via USB-C and is resistant to water and dust: the first iPad with that protection. Thanks to its compact size it goes everywhere with you, in the bag, on a trip or on the sofa for reading. That increases the chance of a fall, usually onto a corner.

iPad Mini 8 screen replacement: glass or full screen
In a fall onto a corner, the glass usually cracks first. If the screen still responds normally afterwards and the picture is undisturbed, we replace only the glass and your original OLED panel is kept. If streaks or black spots appear, or part of the touch drops out, the panel itself is damaged and we fit the full screen.
Being resistant to water and dust does not mean water cannot do damage. If moisture has got into the iPad after all, FIXNOW opens the device, cleans and dries it and investigates what can still be done.
We also repair the battery, the USB-C port, the volume buttons, the power button and the cameras separately from the screen. You can bring it in to Antwerp and Wolvertem, and because the iPad Mini 8 is small, sending it in is easy too.
