iPhone camera glass replacement
Crack or scratch on your iPhone's camera glass? You'll see it right away in your photos: haze, blurry spots, streaks whenever a light source is in frame. Usually it's only the glass in front of the lens that's broken, not the camera itself.
At FIXNOW in Antwerp and Wolvertem, we replace only that glass. We don't touch the camera or the electronics behind it. The parts are in stock, so you can often wait for the repair in the store.

Check the camera bump on the back yourself
- Cracks or chips in the glass after a fall or knock
- Deep scratches, especially visible in bright daylight or backlight
- The camera keeps hunting for focus
- Streaks or glow around lights in evening photos
This is usually caused by a fall, or by keys and coins rubbing against the glass in the same pocket. If the camera still works and focuses properly, new glass is enough.
How FIXNOW replaces the camera glass
Check beforehand
We first check whether it really is just the glass. If there's dirt or condensation on the lens itself, we'll say so honestly: in that case the camera module needs replacing, not the glass.
Replacing the glass
The damaged glass comes out, the edge is cleaned, and the new glass goes on with a fresh adhesive strip. On some models, an additional small glass cover goes on as well.
Testing
Focusing up close and far away, test photos in bright and low light. That way you know everything is right before you leave.
For most models we do this while you wait. Even on a Pro model with multiple lenses, we replace only the glass that's cracked.
Original or an affordable alternative
You choose what goes on your iPhone. Original glass gives you the same sharpness and light capture as before, even in night shots. For many models there's a good alternative that's up to 60% cheaper. In the store we explain what the difference means for your photos. Then you decide.
Camera glass or camera module: the difference
The camera glass is the transparent layer in front of the lens. The camera module is the camera itself, with lens, sensor, and autofocus. Glass damage is easy to see: cracks or scratches, while the camera still starts up and responds.
Don't put off fixing a small crack
- Dust and moisture creep in through a crack
- Once it reaches the lens itself, you won't get it out again
- Does the image stay black or shake while the glass is intact? Then it's more likely the module
Protecting the glass after the repair
A case with a raised edge around the camera bump breaks the fall before the glass takes the hit. Don't lay your iPhone on its back on rough surfaces, and don't toss it loose into a bag with keys or coins.
