The OLED panel in your iPhone 14 Pro Max handles both the display and touch input as a single unit. During a screen repair, this panel is replaced as a complete module, so colour, brightness and touch response stay consistent with each other. The camera, speaker and other components around the screen are not affected.
If the display and touch on your iPhone 14 Pro Max still work normally, there is also an option where only the glass on top of the OLED panel is replaced, instead of the whole screen. This option is usually more affordable than a full panel replacement. More about glass replacement

Is only the glass of your iPhone 14 Pro Max cracked and the display and touch still work completely (no black spots or stripes), then it is sufficient to replace only the glass. You keep your original Apple display and pay less than for a complete replacement. If the display no longer works or shows spots or stripes, we install a completely new screen. Both options are shown at the top of this page with price and repair time.
