Is it really the battery? Here's how we check
Not every tablet that charges poorly needs a new battery. Samsung tablets don't display battery health as clearly as a smartphone, so we connect your device to our test equipment and read out the actual capacity and charging behavior.
Often the cause lies elsewhere. A charging port clogged with lint from a case or bag produces exactly the same symptoms, and a faulty cable or adapter regularly causes needless worry too. We only suggest replacement once the measurement confirms it. That way you don't pay for a battery you didn't need.
How the replacement works at FIXNOW
Measuring
We read out the actual capacity and charging behavior of your tablet. Only once the measurement confirms a worn battery do we proceed.
Opening
The battery in a Galaxy Tab is held in place with strong adhesive behind the screen or the back panel. We heat the edges and carefully lift the panel free with a suction cup and pry tools.
Replacing
First we disconnect the old battery, so there's no more current running through the device. Then we remove it without bending it and fit the new one with fresh adhesive strips.
Testing and closing up
We reassemble the tablet and test the charging, stability, and whether the screen and housing fit together properly everywhere.
Watch out for a swollen battery
Is your screen or back panel lifting?
- Then a swollen battery is pushing against the housing from the inside
- Stop charging it immediately
- Use the tablet as little as possible and bring it in
- A swollen battery only gets thicker; waiting doesn't help

We fit original batteries that match your model exactly. An original cell delivers the capacity Samsung intended for your tablet and works correctly with the device's charge management. A cheap imitation battery looks the same but loses capacity faster in practice.

From Galaxy Tab A to Tab S Ultra
We replace the battery in almost any Samsung tablet: the affordable Tab A series, the Tab S devices, the rugged Tab Active, and older generations Samsung no longer supports itself. The construction differs by model. On some devices we get in through the screen, on others through the back panel, and the adhesive and connectors are laid out slightly differently each time. Our technicians know these differences, so the housing and screen stay intact.
