Have the screen checked as soon as you notice one of these issues:
- Cracked or broken glass — cracks in the glass, even if the image and touch still work.
- Black screen — the display stays black or shows nothing anymore.
- Spots or streaks — color spots, lines, or dead zones in the image.
- Touch doesn’t respond — the screen doesn’t respond or responds irregularly to touches.
With cracked glass while the image still works perfectly, glass replacement is often enough. With a black screen, spots, or faulty touch, a full screen replacement is necessary.
