What complaints bring Galaxy S23 phones in to FIXNOW
Most Galaxy S23 phones that come in to FIXNOW have one of two problems: the screen is damaged after a drop, or the battery no longer holds a charge the way it used to. Often a quick look is enough to tell which one it is.

Replacing the screen, battery and charging port of the Galaxy S23
The Galaxy S23 has an AMOLED screen with a layer of glass on top. If the display stays sharp and touch response works fine, but only the glass is cracked, then we replace just the glass, without touching the rest of the screen. If the display itself shows spots or streaks, or goes blank completely, replacing the full screen is the solution.
With batteries, we mostly see phones that drain faster than a year ago, or that shut down while the indicator still shows charge left. We replace the battery with a new one, so the phone once again lasts a full day without a top-up charge in between.
If it’s mainly the charging itself that’s acting up, the problem is often the charging port: dust, lint or a worn contact point keep the cable from connecting properly. We clean or replace the charging port, depending on what we find during the check.
