Frequently asked questions
How do I erase my MacBook before selling?
Sign out of iCloud (System Settings → Apple ID) so "Find My Mac" is off. On macOS Monterey or newer, then choose System Settings → General → Erase All Content and Settings. Did not manage? We erase the MacBook together with you in the store.
Which MacBook models do you buy?
The visual calculator includes MacBook Air and Pro with Apple Silicon. We assess the price individually. For an Intel model, use the form at the bottom of this page.
Do you also buy a defective MacBook?
Yes. Indicate damage to the screen, battery, keyboard and other parts in the calculator. We assess the repairs required and make an offer after inspection.
Does RAM count, or only the SSD?
The model, RAM, SSD, GPU and keyboard layout are part of the assessment. We therefore ask for the exact configuration before making an offer.
Should I include the charger?
You may, but you do not have to — the MacBook alone is fine. Original accessories and the box are noted during the assessment.

How and when do I get paid?
In the store you are paid right after the inspection, cash or bank transfer — your choice. If you mail the MacBook in, payout follows after receipt and inspection.
