The iPad 11 (A16) is the entry-level model in the lineup, but even a fresh device isn’t immune to a fall off the couch or a knock against the edge of a table. At FIXNOW in Antwerp and Wolvertem, we mainly see two types of complaints with this model: screen damage and charging problems.

On the iPad 11 (A16), the protective glass and the LCD panel underneath aren’t fused into one fixed layer. If the picture still works normally and touch response is normal, while only the glass is cracked, we replace only the glass and leave the panel underneath in place.
If the LCD panel itself is affected, you’ll notice it through spots, lines, or part of the picture dropping out. In that case a full screen module is needed, usually after a heavier fall or impact.
Charging, battery, and the rest of the device
If the iPad no longer charges, or only on and off, we first check whether it’s the charging port or the cable you’re using. Dust or slightly bent contact pins are a common cause, and cleaning or replacing the port is then enough.
If the battery visibly drains faster or the device switches off unexpectedly, we test it first before replacing it with a new battery. We also repair the cameras, volume buttons, and power button separately, so only the broken part gets addressed. If you can’t come by, you can also send us your iPad.
