Is the display in your iPad 11 (A16) made up of two separate parts?
In your iPad 11 (A16), the glass with the touch layer (digitizer) and the LCD display are two separate parts. During a full display replacement, the display is replaced, and the glass above it as well if needed. This brings both parts back into proper alignment with each other.
