The LCD panel in your iPad Air 3 handles both the display and touch input as a single unit. During a screen repair, this panel is replaced as a complete module, so colour, brightness and touch response stay consistent with each other. The camera, speaker and other components around the screen are not affected.

Lines or spots
Vertical lines, coloured spots or a partly black display point to damage to the panel beneath the glass. In that case we replace the entire screen module.
