Your Steam Deck OLED has thumbsticks that can start to drift, and the USB-C port on top is soldered to the motherboard. In Antwerp and Wolvertem we fit a new stick or a pair of TMR sticks, which last much longer, and we replace the port by micro-soldering. If the storage is almost full, we install a larger SSD so that more games fit again. That way your Deck can come along in your bag again.

Problems a Steam Deck OLED can run into
The Steam Deck OLED is a handheld with an HDR OLED screen. The USB-C port is on top. The storage is an SSD that you can have replaced.

Steam Deck OLED: charging port and SSD
The USB-C port of the Steam Deck OLED is soldered to the motherboard. If the port is loose or broken, FIXNOW replaces it by micro-soldering. If charging stays off even after a new port, we examine the charging chip.
If you want more space, we install a larger SSD in the slot that is meant for it.
If the handheld no longer starts up, we examine the motherboard. If liquid has entered the device, we clean first; what is still possible after that depends on the damage.
Screen and thumbsticks of the Steam Deck OLED
If the HDR OLED screen is cracked or stays black, we replace the screen. The thumbsticks are modules on a flex cable, so we replace a stick with drift as a module. We can also replace both thumbsticks with TMR sticks, which work without the sliding contact that wears in a classic stick.
We replace a fan that rattles. Dust and worn thermal interface make the handheld run hot; we deal with those through a cleaning. If you would rather not travel, you can ship the handheld yourself. The workshops are in Antwerp and Wolvertem.
