Won’t turn on (motherboard)
Component levelThe screen stays black, with no Apple logo or charging symbol, even on the charger, while the battery and charging port are fine.
- We measure the power circuit on the motherboard
- We repair the faulty component, for example a short circuit or a power or charging chip
- Your original motherboard stays in the device
Won’t charge (charging chip)
Your phone does not charge, even with another cable, charger or a new charging port, and wireless charging or the computer does not work either.
- We check the battery and charging port first
- Then we replace the charging chip on the motherboard
Photo and data recovery
Specialist workYour phone no longer starts or has water damage, and it holds photos, videos or other data without a backup.
We need your passcode. After a reset or a computer 'Restore', the data can no longer be read, and we do not bypass iCloud Activation Lock.
- We first try to get the original motherboard working again
- If that fails, we move the processor and memory chips together to a donor board and read the data there
Stuck on the Apple logo
After diagnosisYour phone gets stuck on the Apple logo, restarts every few minutes or stays in recovery mode, even after updating via a computer and with a good battery.
In recovery mode, choose 'Update', not 'Restore': Restore erases all your data.
- We first check the parts that often cause this, such as the battery, the charging-port flex cable or a sensor
- If the fault is on the motherboard, we repair it there
Motherboard after water damage
After water damageAfter water damage, your phone no longer turns on, keeps restarting or no longer charges, and cleaning alone was not enough.
Water-damage repairs carry no warranty: moisture or early corrosion can still affect the device later.

- After salt water, we move the processor and memory chips to a donor board if needed; this takes longer
- The regular water-damage cleaning is a separate service
No service or network

Not every device can be repaired; after the diagnosis we tell you whether it is possible for yours.
- In a drop, the connections between the layers of the motherboard can crack
- We separate the layers and restore those connections
