You do not have to throw away a Joy-Con with drift. The stick module sits on a flex cable and can be replaced, so FIXNOW fits a new stick in Antwerp and Wolvertem or, if you prefer, a TMR stick that wears much less. If you notice the battery draining faster or a button no longer responding, we fix that as well. That way you simply keep playing with the same Joy-Con.

When a Joy-Con starts acting strangely
A Joy-Con contains a stick module on a flex cable and a built-in battery. The SL and SR buttons are on the side rails. All of these parts can wear, especially if the Joy-Con is used a lot.

Replacing the stick module of the Joy-Con
The stick of a Joy-Con is a separate module on a flex cable. That is a thin, flexible connection to the rest of the electronics. Such a module can be replaced, so the whole controller does not have to be renewed.
FIXNOW fixes drift on a single Joy-Con by replacing the module. If you want to renew the sticks of the whole pair, TMR sticks are available. They have no sliding contact that wears away, so they last much longer.
Before we replace a module, we check whether the fault really lies with the stick. After that you hear the price before we take anything apart.
Battery and side buttons of the Joy-Con
If the battery no longer holds its charge, we open the Joy-Con and replace it. If one of the SL and SR buttons stops responding, we repair it. The same goes for a trigger that starts to act up.
If you live near Antwerp or Wolvertem, you can simply walk in. Otherwise you can send in the Joy-Con.
