The sticks of the DualSense are soldered to the motherboard, so in Antwerp and Wolvertem FIXNOW desolders the stick module and fits a new one, or, if you prefer, two TMR sticks that work without a sliding contact and wear far less. After that, you are back to playing with the controller you know.

What can go wrong with a DualSense
The DualSense is the standard PS5 controller, with adaptive triggers and a built-in battery that is charged over USB-C.
- The camera or cursor moves on its own while your thumb is still
- The cable wobbles in the port or the controller no longer charges
- The battery runs flat much faster than it used to
- A button sticks or only responds after pressing hard
- A trigger feels strange or works only halfway
- After a fall, a stick feels loose or crooked
Soldered sticks on the DualSense
The sticks of the DualSense are soldered to the circuit board. Replacing a stick with drift therefore means that we desolder the stick module and solder a new one in its place.
The standard repair is one new stick. If you want to replace both sticks, TMR sticks (Hall effect) are available. They contain no sliding contact that wears, as a classic stick does, so they last much longer.
Whether one stick or both need replacing becomes clear after examination. We discuss that with you before we begin.
Charging port and battery of the DualSense
If the controller no longer charges or the cable is loose, we replace the USB-C port. We also replace a battery that runs flat quickly, because a battery loses capacity over time. Buttons and adaptive triggers that stick or do not respond we repair separately.
