Stick drift is especially annoying on a DualSense Edge, because this PS5 controller is made for precise play. At FIXNOW you choose between one new stick and both sticks in a TMR version (Hall effect). These have no sliding contact that can wear out, so they last much longer. We replace a battery that gives up quickly, and we repair a button that keeps sticking as well. Your Edge then does what you bought it for.

How a DualSense Edge can let you down
The DualSense Edge is the pro controller for the PS5, with swappable stick modules and extra buttons on the back. Even a controller like this wears and can start to act up.

Replacing the stick modules of the DualSense Edge
Because the stick modules of the Edge are swappable, we replace a worn stick as a module. No stick has to be desoldered from the circuit board, and the rest of the controller is left untouched.
If you want the new sticks to last longer, choose both sticks as TMR sticks. They contain no sliding contact that wears away, as a classic stick does. Replacing only the drifting stick with a classic module is also possible.
We establish on which side the fault lies before we replace anything. Sometimes one module is enough, sometimes both sides are affected.
Back buttons and battery of the Edge
We repair the back buttons just like the regular buttons and triggers. We replace a USB-C port that no longer charges, and a battery that drains too quickly as well. The battery is built in, so we open the controller for that.
FIXNOW repairs the Edge in Antwerp and Wolvertem. After the examination you hear the price, and only then does the repair begin. If you live further away, you can send in the controller.
