Screen will not turn on or there are black spots or lines on the screen. In this case we will need to replace the entire screen.
The outer screen of your Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip is cracked or stays black while the inner screen works. We replace only the outer screen; the foldable inner screen stays in place.
New genuine Samsung protective film on the foldable inner screen, applied in our workshop after checking the layer underneath. Fixes peeling film and air bubbles, not lines or marks in the picture.

Connecting cable between the two halves, running through the hinge. If your device shuts down, or the picture, sound or reception drop out when opening or closing while the screen itself still works, we replace only this cable.
Your device no longer opens flat, feels stiff, or sits crooked. We replace the hinge as a separate part; the inner screen stays in place if it is undamaged.
The bezel around the foldable inner screen comes loose or is damaged. We replace only the screen bezel.
What exactly is broken on your Galaxy Z Flip 5?
On a Fold or Flip, “the screen does not work” is not always the screen. We only replace the part that is actually faulty; if your inner screen still works, it stays in place and you pay less.
The image itself is damaged
Line, spot, dead zone or no image at all, in every position of the device. Then the folding panel itself is faulty and only a new inner screen will fix it.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 screen replacement: what to expect
The inner screen and the outer screen are two separate parts, each with its own weak spot. The foldable inner screen has a protective film that belongs to the panel. If it comes loose at the fold line, do not peel it off yourself. At FIXNOW we fit a new original Samsung film if the screen beneath is fine; otherwise we replace the inner screen.
The outer screen is large and takes the first hit in a drop. A crack in it is fixed with a new outer screen; the inner screen stays in place.
The hinge is sensitive to dust. If opening and closing feels stiff, have it checked in good time at our store in Antwerp or Wolvertem.
Hinge, film and sending in
Does the image drop out as soon as you close the device? Do not force the hinge and have it checked: hinge, film and the flex cable through the hinge are replaced separately, without replacing the inner screen. A cracked camera glass is replaced separately from the screens. If you live further away, you can also send the Z Flip 5 in; choose your model and the mail-in option and briefly describe the complaint.
