Screen will not turn on or there are black spots or lines on the screen. In this case we will need to replace the entire screen.
The outer screen of your Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip is cracked or stays black while the inner screen works. We replace only the outer screen; the foldable inner screen stays in place.
New genuine Samsung protective film on the foldable inner screen, applied in our workshop after checking the layer underneath. Fixes peeling film and air bubbles, not lines or marks in the picture.

Your device no longer opens flat, feels stiff, or sits crooked. We replace the hinge as a separate part; the inner screen stays in place if it is undamaged.
The bezel around the foldable inner screen comes loose or is damaged. We replace only the screen bezel.
What exactly is broken on your Galaxy Z Fold 5?
On a Fold or Flip, “the screen does not work” is not always the screen. We only replace the part that is actually faulty; if your inner screen still works, it stays in place and you pay less.
The image itself is damaged
Line, spot, dead zone or no image at all, in every position of the device. Then the folding panel itself is faulty and only a new inner screen will fix it.

Galaxy Z Fold 5 screen replacement: what we check first
Before we replace an inner screen, we test the image and touch of both screens and the connections through the hinge. A black inner screen can also be a faulty flex cable or connector; the panel itself may then still be fine.
If the damage is in the panel, with a line, spot or dead zone in the image, we replace the inner screen as a module, with the new film already on it. The fixed price for that is in the table above. With a crack in the outer screen, we replace only that screen; the inner screen stays in place.
Hinge, film and flex cable: assessed separately
Does your Fold 5 no longer open flat or does the hinge feel stiff? Do not force it: the pressure ends up on the inner screen. We assess hinge, frame and screen together and then replace only the deformed part: hinge, frame or bezel. The same applies to a lifting film or a fault that only occurs when folding: a new original film or a new flex cable, without replacing the screen. You can also send the device in; choose your model and the mail-in option.
