The outer screen of your Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip is cracked or stays black while the inner screen works. We replace only the outer screen; the foldable inner screen stays in place.
New genuine Samsung protective film on the foldable inner screen, applied in our workshop after checking the layer underneath. Fixes peeling film and air bubbles, not lines or marks in the picture.

Your device no longer opens flat, feels stiff, or sits crooked. We replace the hinge as a separate part; the inner screen stays in place if it is undamaged.
The bezel around the foldable inner screen comes loose or is damaged. We replace only the screen bezel.
What exactly is broken on your Galaxy Z Fold 4?
On a Fold or Flip, “the screen does not work” is not always the screen. We only replace the part that is actually faulty; if your inner screen still works, it stays in place and you pay less.
The image itself is damaged
Line, spot, dead zone or no image at all, in every position of the device. Then the folding panel itself is faulty and only a new inner screen will fix it.

A Fold opens and closes many times a day. The parts that do the most work are also the parts the questions are about: the large inner screen, the film on it, the hinge and the outer screen that takes the first hit in a drop. Which of these points do you recognise?

Galaxy Z Fold 4 screen replacement: inner or outer screen?
The inner screen of the Z Fold 4 is a foldable OLED panel with an ultra-thin glass layer and a factory film on top. The outer screen is a separate, conventional panel. At FIXNOW in Antwerp and Wolvertem we first look at which screen is damaged and whether the image and touch still work. Only then do we discuss which module needs replacing.
Is only the film coming loose while the image is fine, or does the image only drop out in a certain position? Then the inner screen is not automatically done for. We then replace only the part that is faulty: a new original film, the flex cable through the hinge or the hinge itself. The outer screen is also replaced separately from the inner screen. Which part it is, the assessment shows.
Other repairs and sending in
A cracked camera glass on the back is replaced separately from the screens. Has your Fold 4 fallen into water? Bring it in for a check as soon as possible. Do you live further away? You can also send the device in: choose your model and the mail-in option and briefly describe what you notice and when.

- Faulty touch — the screen doesn’t respond or responds poorly to touches.
- No image anymore — the display no longer works, even though the device is on.

If the display itself no longer works correctly, a complete new display module is the appropriate solution: it fully restores image and touch.
