Diagnosis is free when we repair your device. If a repair is not possible or you choose not to proceed, the completed diagnosis costs €39.
Screen & Glass
Only the cracked glass is replaced; your original display is retained. Suitable when image and touch still work properly, without spots or lines.
Screen will not turn on or there are black spots or lines on the screen. In this case we will need to replace the entire screen.
Battery
Your device turns off unexpectedly, loses charge quickly and/or requires frequent charging.
Software & Backup
Cannot unlock because the access code does not work, is missing and/or forgotten.
Transfer files from old to new device without loss of personal data.

What Pixel 8a owners come in with
Screen and battery: those are by far the two most common complaints we see with the Pixel 8a. Of all the Pixel models, this is the device we see the most, so for us both repairs are routine. Both are quite ordinary: a drop happens fast, and every battery wears out over the years.

Pixel 8a screen replacement: what to expect
The Pixel 8a’s screen is an OLED panel with the fingerprint sensor built in directly underneath. During a screen replacement, we calibrate that sensor as part of the job. That way, after the repair you can unlock your device with your finger again, just as you’re used to.
Does your battery drain faster than before, or does the device just switch itself off? It’s usually not too serious. The device itself is rarely broken — the battery has simply reached the end of its lifespan. In that case, we replace just the battery. Your data and settings stay on the device throughout.
