What damage does an iPhone 7 Plus usually come in with at FIXNOW?
The iPhone 7 Plus has an LCD screen that, after a drop, usually needs to be replaced as a whole, because the glass and the display are fused together. Due to the age of the device, the battery is also often weaker than it used to be, and the aluminium back frequently shows dents or scratches after years of use. Replacing the iPhone 7 Plus screen: what are the options?
With the iPhone 7 Plus, a separate glass repair isn’t possible: the glass and the LCD screen form a single unit. During a screen replacement, we therefore always fit a completely new screen module. The camera, speakers and the connector at the bottom stay untouched during this repair.
If the aluminium back shows a dent or a deep scratch, that’s a separate job handled via back replacement, independent of the screen. The battery, camera and internal parts simply stay in place during this.
With both repairs, your data stays on the device: we only work on the glass and the housing, never on the software or the memory. You can drop by FIXNOW in Antwerp and Wolvertem; if a visit doesn’t suit you, you can also send in your iPhone 7 Plus.
