What kind of damage do iPhone 8 Plus devices come in with at FIXNOW?
The iPhone 8 Plus has a glass panel on both the front and the back, and that glass is usually the first thing to take a hit in a fall. As one of the older models in the lineup, you’ll also often notice on this device that the battery has lost capacity after years of use. This usually results in one of the following complaints:

iPhone 8 Plus screen replacement: what are your options?
On the iPhone 8 Plus, the glass sits directly against the LCD display, so a separate glass repair isn’t possible here. With a screen replacement, we always fit a complete new screen module, glass and display together. The camera, speakers and battery aren’t touched and stay unchanged.
We also treat the glass back as a separate part: if it cracks after a fall, we replace only that panel. The rest of the device, from the motherboard to the battery, stays original. You can read more about this under back replacement.
With both the screen and the back, your data simply stays in place: we only work on the housing and the glass, never on the software or the memory. Repair or sell?

Een gebarsten iPhone-scherm op een zondag is nooit gepland, dus fijn dat we die schermreparatie in Antwerpen dezelfde namiddag nog rond kregen. Dat het toestel er weer als nieuw uitziet, maakt de extra uren meer dan waard. Veel plezier ermee, en je zoon hopelijk ook!
