Two types of insurance
Operator network programmes
- For example Proximus Smartphone Omnium, or Orange/Telenet insurance that handles claims via SPB.
- With this type, you usually don’t choose your own repairer — your operator or insurer sends you instructions or packaging.
- We’re upfront about this: follow your insurer’s procedure. We can’t help you outside of that process.
Reimbursement — you choose your own repairer
- For example Ethias Digital Omnium (reimburses the repair invoice, with a deductible, claim within 5 days), a family/liability policy (damage to someone else’s device), or a credit card’s purchase protection.
- You choose where to get it repaired — including FIXNOW. You submit the documents to your insurer yourself.
- We provide everything you need for that: a quote beforehand, a repair invoice afterwards, and on request a certificate of non-repairability.

Repair invoice after the repair
With the IMEI or serial number of your device, so your insurer can link the repair to your claim.
For total loss: certificate of non-repairability
If repair is no longer possible, we issue this certificate on request — in-store or by e-mail.
In case of theft, your insurer usually also asks for a police report. That comes from the police, not from us.

Does FIXNOW work with my insurer?
We prepare the documents most insurers ask for: a free quote beforehand and a repair invoice afterwards. If your insurer works through a network programme (for example via your operator), follow the procedure they give you.
What does a quote cost?
Requesting a quote is free. You receive it as a PDF by e-mail.
How quickly do I get my quote or repair invoice?
You receive the quote within minutes of your request. The repair itself is often finished the same day.
What if my device is a total loss?
If your device can no longer be repaired, we issue a certificate of non-repairability on request — in-store or by e-mail.
Does the insurance pay FIXNOW directly?
Usually you pay us and your insurer reimburses you afterwards, depending on your policy. For brokers and insurers, direct billing can be arranged — get in touch to discuss the options.
